Custom project preparation

Planning a Custom Peptide Project: Review, Approval and Delivery

Use clear decision points so changes do not become mismatches at handover.

Checkpoint 1: a reviewable brief

Prepare one version of the identity, quantity, packaging and analytical requirements. Distinguish required fields from preferences. Identify the technical and purchasing contacts responsible for approving changes without sharing unnecessary personal information.

Checkpoint 2: an understood quotation

Compare the quotation with the brief. Review the accepted scope, exclusions, proposed alternatives and timing assumptions. Do not treat a response to a general inquiry as acceptance of every detail in an attachment.

Checkpoint 3: controlled changes

If a requirement changes, describe the change explicitly and ask what needs to be reassessed. Sequence, quantity, terminal form and deliverables may each affect the agreed scope. Record the new approved version before continuing.

Checkpoint 4: a complete handover

  • Match the supplied identity to the approved specification.
  • Match batch references across labels and applicable documents.
  • Confirm that agreed deliverables are present.
  • Record outstanding questions and the contact route for resolution.
